It's COLD!

No doubt about it - it's winter in Ontario! In fact, the entire province went under an extreme cold weather alert over the New Year! "The frigid Arctic air mass is hitting northern Ontario with wind chill temperatures sitting at -45 and is expected to drop again on Monday." Brr! Stay warm, stay inside when possible, and bundle up! During these extreme cold snaps, it's a good idea to check on your cottage and make sure everything is alright. Only do so if the roads are safe! It may be cold, but the snow still looks as beautiful as ever!

Entire provinces are under extreme cold weather alerts

Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold weather alert for the entire province of Alberta and Ontario, with pockets of other provinces and territories across the country included in the alert.
